Day 1 SINGAPORE - TOKYO

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Tokyo.

Day 2 TOKYO - AKITA (KAKUNODATE)


Upon arrival, proceed to proceed to Odaiba Park, a shopping and entertainment district offering attractions like Palette Town, Toyota Mega Web and Venus Fort Shopping Mall. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Akita. Upon arrival, visit the tranquil 423-metre deep Lake Tazawa, the deepest lake in Japan. Next, proceed to Kakunodate Bukeyashiki Samurai Manors, a charming castle-town which has preserved many 350-year-old samurai houses.

Day 3 AKITA (KAKUNODATE) - IWATE - MIYAGI (SENDAI)

After breakfast, proceed to Koiwai Farm, the largest private ranch in Japan. Besides dairy farming and landscape gardening, it allows visitors to come in close contact with the farm animals. Next, visit Chusonji Temple to view its Konjikido (Golden Hall), a temple hall which is completely covered in gold, as well as its Hondo (Main Hall), Kyozo (Sutra Repository), Sankoso (Treasure House) and a Noh theatre stage. Then, head to Genbikei Gorge, a stretch of undulating rock layers, waterfalls and river rapids. It offers picturesque scenery all year round.  Travel to Sendai and enjoy shopping.

Day 4 MIYAGI (SENDAI) - FUKUSHIMA (AIZU)

After breakfast, visit Godaido Hall which is perched on a small island in Matsushima Bay. View 5 esoteric Buddhist statues within the vividly-coloured inside hall and enjoy a scenic view for Matsushima Bay. You will shop at Matsushima Seafood Market, the place where you can buy all sorts of seafood. Thereafter, we will continue our journey to Sasakamaboko Factory, is a unique boiled fish paste made with ground white fish. It is a type of preserved food; you can sample some that has just been freshly made. Next, you will visit Traditional Japanese sweet bun factory. Stop by to admire Goshikinuma Pond, a collective term for about 40 lakes where the water colour will change according to weather and season.

Day 5 FUKUSHIMA (AIZU) - KITAKATA - NIKKO

Visit Aizu-wakamasu Castle, the home of the head of Aizu clan during the Edo period. Thereafter, proceed to Kitakata, a town with over 2,600 old brick and whitewash storehouses which have been converted to art galleries and museums. With over 120 ramen shops, the town is also famous for its ramen. You will get to enjoy its local specialty ramen for lunch at one of the 3 most famous ramen shops in Japan. Proceed to Fruit Line in Fukushima city, a major fruit growing area. You may try picking fruits and enjoy a variety of seasonal fruits. Travel along the scenic Bandai Azuma Skyline, a mountain toll road traversing the Azuma Range to enjoy panoramic views like Mt Azuma Kofuji. Continue your journey to visit Japan Sakekan. Sake is Japanese rice wine that was brough to Nikko by a merchant in Edo period. Next, visit Nikko Tosho-Gu shrine, is famous for its five-story pagoda and the "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" monkey sculptures, and moreover is the place enshrining the soul of Tokugawa leyasu. Note From 01 to 28 February 2010 (Date are subject to change without prior notice), Bandai Azuma Skyline will be closed due to heavy snow. It will be replaced by another route. Day 6 NIKKO - TOKYO - NARITA

Take a leisure drive to Tokyo where you can shop to your heart?s content at Akihabara electric city and Nakamise Avenue in Asakusa, where you can purchase some souvenirs. Last, you have a chance to shop at Ginza, the most up-market area of Tokyo. The famous department stores include Mitsukoshi, Matsuya, Matsuzakaya, Wako, as well as Yurakucho

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
