Day 1 SINGAPORE - CHITOSE (VIA TOKYO)

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Tokyo

Day 2 CHITOSE - OTARU - SAPPORO

Upon arrival in Tokyo, transfer by flight to Chitose. You will visit Otaru Canal to view the century old stone warehouses that line both sides of the canal. The canal is skirted by cobblestone paths and lit by gaslights. Proceed to Otaru Music Box Museum to view beautifully crafted music boxes. Enjoy an afternoon tea at “Silver Bell” where you will enjoy a piece of confectionary and a cup of drink, served in an exquisite porcelain cup that will be yours to keep as a memento. Tonight, ascend Mt Moiwa to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Sapporo city.

Day 3 SAPPORO - SOUNKYO


After breakfast, visit the famous White Chocolate Factory before heading to Odori Park, decorated with fountains, sculptures and flowerbeds. Next, proceed to Sapporo Underground for your shopping spree. Visit the tranquil Hokkaido Jingu, one of Japan’s largest shrines steeped in nature and traditions. You may witness a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony if you are lucky. Tonight, enjoy a relaxing Japanese hot spring bath in Sounkyo’s resort.|

Day 4 SOUNKYO - ASAHIKAWA - JOZANKEI

This morning, proceed to Sounkyo Gorge, situated at the foot of Mt Daisetsu-zan. You can choose to ascend the magnificent mountain via a ropeway at your own expense to have a panoramic view of its surrounding landscape. The mountain is accented by dramatic columnar cliffs that are lined with waterfalls such as Shooting Star Falls and Silver River Falls. Then visit Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum which has 330-year-old history of brewing some of the best sakes in Japan. You may enjoy sampling different types of sakes. Next, visit Asahikawa Ramen Village to savour delicious ramen from 8 of Asahikawa's greatest ramen shops in one combined outlet. Next, continue to shop at Chitose Factory Outlet Mall Rera which has 95 shops carrying domestic and imported brands.

DAY 4 SOUNKYO - ASAHIKAWA - NISEKO (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


This morning, proceed to Sounkyo Gorge, situated at the foot of Mt Daisetsu-zan. You can choose to ascend the magnificent mountain via a ropeway at your own expense to have a panoramic view of its surrounding landscape. The mountain is accented by dramatic columnar cliffs that are lined with waterfalls such as Shooting Star Falls and Silver River Falls. Then, visit Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum which has 330-year-old history of brewing some of the best sakes in Japan. You may enjoy sampling different types of sakes. Next, visit Asahiyama Zoo, which houses a huge number of animals across a wide range of species. One of the most popular exhibits is the polar bear house where you can see the animals up close through the glass walls. Walk through a long transparent tunnel in the penguins' pool and watch the penguins swim from all directions. During winter, view the penguins' parades. After shopping at Chitose Factory Outlet Mall, proceed to check-into a ski resort in Niseko, where you can enjoy snow activities like skiing, snow rafting or snow mobiling at your own expense| Note Asahiyama Zoo is not open from 30 December 2009 to 1 January 2010. It will be replaced by Asahikawa Shopping Street. Dates are subject to change without prior notice. In the event if the ski resort in Niseko is fully booked, it will be replaced by a ski resort of the same category.

Day 5 JOZANKEI - LAKE TOYA - NOBORIBETSU

After breakfast, continue your journey to Lake Toya, one of Hokkaido's three most impressive landscapes. Photo stop at Mt Showa, is one of Japan's youngest mountains, which has risen from a flat wheat field to its current height of 290 metres between 1943 and 1945. Proceed to Bear Ranch, home of 180 bears, where you can enjoy by seeing them play and live together. Next, explore Shiraoi Ainu Village for a glimpse into the village's rich and unique history. Move on to Noboribetsu and visit Jigokudani, also known as "Hell Valley". Walk through the sulphurous valley and see boiling ponds and steaming streams. Tonight, enjoy an onsen in the famous Noboribetsu region.|

DAY 5 NISEKO - LAKE TOYA - NOBORIBETSU (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)


You can spend your morning at leisure in Niseko. In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Toya and stop by for photography. Next, explore Shiraoi Ainu Village for a glimpse into the village's rich and unique history. Move on to Noboribetsu and visit Jigokudani, also known as "Hell Valley". Walk through the sulphurous valley and see boiling ponds and steaming streams. Tonight, enjoy an onsen in the famous Noboribetsu region.

Day 6 NOBORIBETSU - SAPPORO

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive back to Sapporo. Visit Japanese Beer Factory, where you can view the production process of one of Japan's finest beer. Next, head to the famous Susukino Ramen Alley, which has over 10 established ramen restaurants that serve ramen in a miso-flavoured soup, a Hokkaido specialty. Continue to shop at Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade, the longest shopping street in Hokkaido. Overnight in Susukino area, well known as Japan's largest entertainment district.

Day 7 SAPPORO - CHITOSE - SINGAPORE (VIA TOKYO)

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
